vidalia onion appetizer
3 to 4 Vidalia onions cut in half rings and set in large glass bowl
Combine the following:
2 cups of water
1 cup of sugar
½ cup apple cider vinegar
Heat liquids with sugar until sugar is melted and starting to boil.
Pour over onions and try to make it cover them cover and refrigerate overnight.
Drain Onions then add mayonnaise, celery seeds, Tabasco, Toney’s or any Cajun seasoning to taste.
Serve over crackers. I prefer Ritz.
